Palo Santo
When I first smelled Palo Santo I hated it. Same with the Sage. One of my earliest teachers explained that it was not ME who didn’t like the smell of these purifying plants. It was my emotional debris and negative attachments. Whoa! Nevertheless, it wasn’t until I was laying in savasana in a Baptiste Yoga studio in upstate New York crying my eyes out that I smelled the woodsy sweet scent of the holy wood and felt its loving energy envelope me that I fell in love. Palo Santo is believed by some to be even stronger in its purifying powers than Sage. Personally, I love both!
